FastClamp® fittings and tube: everything you need to build tubular handrail, guardrail and lightweight structures without welding. Browse key clamp fittings, DDA handrail fittings and galvanised steel tube.
The FastClamp system is built around slip-on malleable iron fittings that grip standard steel tube with a grub screw. Cut the tube, slide on the fitting, tighten with an Allen key. That is the whole method, and it is why FastClamp has been a standard product line for UK steel stockholders and safety distributors since 1999.
Three ranges sit in this category. Key clamp fittings are the core structural range, with over 60 fitting types in five tube sizes. The DDA range is a set of handrail fittings designed for accessible handrails in public and commercial buildings, with a 42.4mm handrail on 48.3mm uprights. Tube is galvanised steel to BS EN 10255, stocked in standard lengths with a cutting service for bespoke orders.
Everything is stocked for rapid dispatch. Order through your FastClamp distributor, or contact our technical team for a fitting list and a quote.

Three ranges, one system

Key clamp fittings are the structural range: over 60 fitting types for handrail, guardrail, barrier, frame and rack. DDA handrail fittings are the accessible handrail set, pairing a graspable rail with standard uprights. Tube is the galvanised steel tube the fittings are designed around, cut to the lengths you need. All three assemble with a hex key and mix on the same job.

Why distributors stock FastClamp

Made in the UK, held in stock, and sold only through the trade. FastClamp® does not sell direct and does not run a web shop, so a stockist knows the customer they bring in stays theirs. The technical team supports the stockist and their customer with fitting selection, drawings and parts lists, which means the counter can say yes to a handrail job without a fabricator.

Built kits and safety products

The same fittings are the basis of the FastClamp safety range: self closing safety gates, mezzanine pallet gates, step over platforms, roof walkways and Defender roof edge protection. A guardrail built from key clamp fittings and a gate from the safety range come off one drawing.

Frequently asked questions

What is the difference between key clamp fittings and the DDA range?

Key clamp fittings are the general structural range in standard tube sizes. The DDA range uses a smaller handrail diameter that is easier to grip, with fittings that connect it to standard uprights, for accessible handrails in public and commercial buildings.

Do you sell direct?

No. FastClamp is supplied through UK trade merchants, industrial distributors and tube stockholders. Contact our team and we will point you to a stockist, or ask about a trade account if you are a distributor.

Can I get technical drawings?

Yes. Send a sketch or photograph of the job and the technical team will return a drawing and a parts list.
